EVERYBODY knows that fashion is so last year especially when you’re at camp Whanawhana. It’s about hanging out, having fun, but most of all trying your hardest. Activities at Camp Whanawhana allow you to get involved and let you experience new things and challenges. There was abseiling; flying kiwi, team building games and the one that everyone loves, tube rafting. Only a fool would forget to add bug spray to their list and remember it’s not a free ride so watch out you are on cooking, cleaning and looking after your belongings duty. The Kiwi Adventure Staff is awesome! They are fun and supportive towards everyone. Now you can see from the evidence THAT CAMP WHANAWHANA IS WICKED!
Pitch black all around me. I can see the others switching on their torches so they can see in the pitch black night. I can see our bivis now we’re arrived there. I can hear the grass hoppers singing like birds. I could taste the dry bug spray as I went into the bivis. I hope the bugs won’t eat me tonight.

Pitch black sky surrounds me as I try to go back to sleep ignoring the pebbles under my tarpaulin or the glowing glow sticks. I’m trying to go back to sleep but all I hear is the whistling wind, the rustle of the trees. I wonder if millie will ever turn her torch of. Sally Ward
